Refuse Pick-Up
The Borough of Archbald contracts trash collection to a private hauler, J.P. Mascaro & Sons. If you have any problems please contact them directly at 800-243-7575.
Pick up days are as follows:
| MONDAY: | Eynon, Sturges and Wildcat Road, plus all homes between Eynon and Kennedy Drive from Main Street, Eynon to Maria Boulevard. |
| TUESDAY: | All of Main Street, Archbald, Nebraska Section, Valley View Trailer Court plus all homes east of Main Street from Kennedy Drive to Jermyn. |
| WEDNESDAY: | All streets bordering Jessup Borough over to Columbus Drive and all street west of Main Street Archbald up to Bank Street (including Haley Nicole Drive and Peggy Drive) |
- There is a six can / bag limit per unit.
- Please have trash out the night before the pick up day.
- Please make sure containers are not overweight (50 pound limit)
Items not accepted on normal trash pick ups are ashes, yard waste, Freon containing appliances, car parts, batteries, tires and construction materials.
YARD WASTE: Residents should use biodegradable bags that can be picked up FREE at the borough office during normal working hours for yard waste. Currently yard waste can be put out with regular weekly refuse collection.
BULK ITEMS: You may put out one item per week per household. Bulk items I include things like sofas, water heaters, stoves, TV's. washer, dryers, etc. For FREON-CONTAINING APPLIANCES such as refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and dehumidifiers call the Borough Office at 876-1800 to arrange a special pick up (there is a $25 charge).
ASHES are picked up by the Borough DPW on every Tuesday during winter months then every other Tuesday during the summer months.
BUSINESSES are excluded from borough's municipal waste contract and must contract separately with a hauler for their waste removal needs.
